Third Annual Churchill Society Herf
On August 28th 2010, The Churchill Society hosted its Third Annual Charity Herf. We again donated all proceeds to the local food bank, CCAP/Loaves and Fishes. This year we raised $1,186 and 377lbs of food. Last year we raised 284lbs of food and $1000. The year before that we raised $573 and three large boxes of food.
On the day of the Herf we enjoyed: a raffle, poker tournament, corn hole games, food drive and lots of good food and cigars. Unfortunately the band could not make it, so we fired up the ipod and made do.

If you plan on coming next year, and you know you are, here are a few helpful hints. We will supply the mixers but you need to BYOB. You should bring a comfy chair to make sure you have a place to sit under one of the canopies. Parking will be available along the street and is FREE on the weekends. Please do not park in the small lot next to the shop, as it is for the apartment building on Church street, and is not owned by the cigar shop. We are easy to find and only about 1.5 hours from Baltimore Maryland, DC and Northern VA! The club and smoke shop is just 1.3 miles from exit 13 off of I-81.
