First Thursday
Menus for the year 2008

The first Thursday of each month we hold a cigar dinner at The Churchill Society for a cost of $20. Trust me, no one walks away hungry! Dinner starts at 7pm, but feel free to show up early! Along with the great food, we also hold a raffle (or two)!!  Feel free to bring your own adult beverages.



The December 4th 2008 menu:

Entree: Meatballs in red sauce over noodles 
Sides: Fresh baked bread and a salad
Dessert: Sheet cake and coffee



The November 6th 2008 menu:

Thanksgiving, with a twist!

Entree:

Sides: Salad, fresh baked bread, mashed potatoes, and other veggies
Dessert: Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie


*What do you mean you have no idea what a Turduckhen is?? Well... here you go....

"The true taste of Louisiana and made in Louisiana. You take a turkey, duck, and a chicken, and de-bone all three (except for the legs and wings of the turkey). Then put the chicken inside the
duck and then the duck inside the turkey. Then stuff the turducken with a wonderful Shrimp & Crawfish jambalaya rice dressing."


The October 2nd 2008 Menu:



Entrees: Cabbage and dumplings
Sauerbraten meatballs with gravy over egg noodles
Bratwurst and onions simmered in beer with German curry sauce
Side: German potato salad
Dessert: Barb's Plum Kuchen (plum cake)




The September 4th 2008 Menu:

The dinner for September 4nd was Bar-B-Que. And showcased the talents of our very own Paul Piatt!

Entree: Pulled-pork with a choice of homemade sauces.

Sides: Green salad along with homemade macaroni salad.


Dessert: Cake, pie and coffee!

The August 7th 2008 Menu:
 
Appetizer:
Italian tomato vinaigrette salad. Fresh bread with roasted garlic butter

Entree: Garlic meatballs and Italian sausage in a traditional Southern Italian gravy (Red Sauce) with basil served over rigatoni and topped with ricotta cheese

Dessert: Warm apple pie ala mode and cheese cake with fresh red and black raspberries. Coffee

The July 3rd 2008 Menu: 

Appetizer:
Baked Italian Bread w/dipping oil and roasted garlic
Organic Salad and Plum Tomatoes

Entree:
Marinated London Broil with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Green
Beans

Dessert: Local Strawberries with N.Y. Cheesecake and Coffee
